Well Done Anthony on a good grading. It was great to see you practicing by yourself in the dojo it shows me how keen you are. Try and slow your kata down so you can think of the next move before you get there. You 5 step kumite needs work too but its getting there keep training hard Anth.

Keep looking up on your basics and kata don't look at the ground. Make sure your punches come out nice and straight.  Well Done Anth.

1st July 2022  Red Belt Grading  (8th Kyu)

Anthony you are now a Red belt Well Done. You must however remain serious and not mess around in class because Red Belts don't do that. Make sure your stances are longer and deeper and keep your knees bent on Basic Stances. Also keep your fists tight on punching. Well Done Anthony.

Grading for 7th Kyu / Yellow Belt 

Not a bad grading Anthony, You side kicks looked the same between the snap one and the thrust one but you did a great mia geri and mawashi geri. You need to work on your back stance more though. Dont stamp as much when doing kata and keep the stances longer. But a great improvement from your last grading and remember to look up Well Done.

Be more confident Anthony and keep looking up when doing techniques take time to finish techniques and remember to bring your kicks back before just dropping them so place you foot down afterwards not just drop. Make sure your hikitae hand is in the correct place and concentrate on the placement of hands during your kata. Well Done Anthony.
