Well Done Willow on a smashing grading. Make sure you keep your fist tight. Try and be more inline (direct) on you punching forward. Slow down a little bit on your 5 Step Kumite. Keep working hard Willow.
1st July 2022 Green Belt Grading (6th Kyu)
Try to keep your hand closed when moving from move to move in your Kata. Also make your stance longer but narrower. Show more difference between side snap and side thrust kick. Some good Kumite and a great attitude though Willow, Well Done.

Try and slow down to give yourself time to finish the tecniques in your basics. Your Karate is very powerful but try not to stamp as much. You did a really good kata and your "One Step" was great, Your Kumite is very good too. Well Done Willow.

Willow you are showing a really good difference between your snap kick and thrust kick. in fact your kicks are great. Make sure you keep an eye on your gadan barai as sometimes its not in the correct place. Keep training Hard Willow as your Karate is becoming fantastic. Well Done.

Your cat stances could be a little shorter other than that, not much Willow. You showed me that you had a grate knowledge of all the Heian kata and did a cracking Tekki Shodan you also displayed great movement during kumite. Well Done Willow on a good grading.

A good grading Willow Well Done. Try and keep your weight back more in back stance. also make sure your fingers are together during Shuto uke. During the Kizami qyaku mawashi geri combination use the qyaku punch to load your hip for the next moves. A good kata too. Keep training hard.
