You got a little mixed up on you oi zuki gyaku zuki comb but you tried really hard.

Very good kicks in general. Your kata was great too but the last 4 moves you going to the wrong angle.

You are very keen and always try your best. A good grading Well Done.

NOTES: Tommy you did a good grading. You really tried hard and even though the combinations were very very difficult you still

managed very well. Your kicks are looking great and we all know how good your fighting ability is. You didn't have any real

problems with “five step kumite” It looked good. Your Kata was a little bit off on the moves up the middle before the end,

To be truthful I have seen you complete that Kata before to quiet a high level. So I think it was because of the struggle you

had with the combinations that has “fried your brain” and affected your Kata. But dont worry Tommy your doing great.

Points Explained: Student will automatically score 10/10 on sections of the grading student is not needed to complete.

NOTES: Not a bad grading Tommy. Your doing a few “kata” style turns when turning in basics. Some of the combinations I gave

you need some work especially the soto uki empi one. Keep training hard Tommy and remember the Kai’s when doing

your kata.

1st July 2022  Brown Belt Grading  (3rd  Kyu)

We need to get our stances down and make sure we never get distracted by friends during Tuesdays classes. Brown Belts don't get distracted. Your kata was really good though and your Kumite was seamless. Also you need to learn a lot of new Kata before your next grading, so its a difficult time a head for you and your study of Karate. You need to continue to train hard to get to an even greater level. Well Done Tommy.

Tommy we need to see a difference between your ura mawashi geri and normal mawashi geri. Keep your fingers together on Nukite. Also make sure you keep all your previous Kata that you have learned in your head. We have a lot of work to do over the next few months on learning new kata's etc. Its going to be an interesting time. Well Done Tommy
